When you search google for gk24 headlining, an old post comes up but I can’t see how to access it, any ideas?!

Thanks

Pete

I think the old headlining post was located on the, now defunct,
gk24.org website. I thought that all the topics had been transferred
to this gk24 google groups site, but it doesn't look like they all
have. Hopefully somebody has a copy of that post & can put it here.

Regards

Simon

Re: Headlining

I would strongly recommend removing the deck fittings and re-bedding them with new back plates. As mine (ply) were all rotted out and leaked. A couple of rainy afternoons with a marker pen soon identified them all! That was last winters job now headlining is due before the start of the season.

Good Luck

Pete

ok I have finally gave up on the idea of the head ling as my one is now out and after seeing all that mess and the fact it hides falling fittings its just not worth it
I have to now rebeded most fittings and my check stays will require the balsa core removed and replaced with grp
