Proctor boom for GK24 (fractional rig)	£365
Genuine Proctor boom originally purchased in 1980 for a Westerly GK24 but never fitted. Will also fit some other similar size yachts. As new, having only a few minor scuffs where moved around during attic/garage storage. Mousing lines still attached. Jam cleats for two reefing lines and outhaul. Reefline and kicker attachments. Photos available. Length: 3070mm Width: 65mm Depth: 83mm I've just been quoted £731 to purchase new from dealer. I'm offering it at less than HALF PRICE - save over £350! Because of its size, would suggest collection or buyer to arrange for courier pick-up.

the jabasco whater thay acall it pump suffered the brunt of the corosion as the internal anode was gone however the engine head and colar are in working condition though the head my do well to have a skim

have the exhaust and fuel tank and any other bits i can pull out to go with it some strage brown ubend at the end and a metal box in the middle and set of 2 filters of some sort and all pipes and asosiated junk

gk24 strike for sale

 decided to get a boat with more head room and got a verl 790 really cheap,

strike has been cleaned up and all repairs done, inboard removed and outboard attached, speed gained has prompted me to do the same to my verl 790, also the mess in the bilges is not missed.

gk24 with new head sail bar one week use, main little bit older slab reefed 3 reef points

4hp 4 stroke mariner short shaft

Garmin gps chart plotter, Garmin fish finder, clipper speed and log , needs new wheel as magnets have fallen off

anchor chain and warp

vhf need to check model but looks nice and new (works well) handheld 5w vhf old but charges and holds good charge works well

hand held Garmin gps 72

2 manual inflatable 150n lifejackets not sure when last checked, at least a few other head sails of different sizes im sure some are old hanked on originals new one is furling gear on new mast and roller reefing which has resulted in no need for other sails, euro spars mast 2006

headlining's all removed sanded and white washed, stick on wall coverings removed cleaned and white washed

basically cleaned out and painted clean

has 3 legs attached allowing for beach landing sitting in Millbrook Cornwall, no pounding as its only 200 yards to other side of lake (tidal) no traffic so no wake.

can include a 4 man dinghy inflatable sort of deal all grey soft floor with transom braket but not transom type dingy sort of loop over thing

sea toilet all in good condition

75ah battery or similar included, 75 ah is a leisure battery but by their nature unused they die so will be in use around the yard but a suitable battery will be provided.

tri light at top of mast and vhf antenna and wind vain

steaming light awaiting new lenses but for now inactive but wiring present and switch

interior lights cushions all in nice condition (meaning you would happily sleep on them)

keel bolts all renewed and keel re-beded

 

things to do, install a panel or floor/ grill in engine compartment for dry storage as always at some point water accumulates in the lowest part of the bilge which is flat

repaint grip paint, grip is good but colour is faded

blast and epoxy iron fin its no longer race smooth

paint hull painted in the past starting to flake.

 

I wont hide any thing so just ask, I love the gk but I want to sail further and really need more of an upright position while below, which I now have with the Verl

shaft and shaft brace all removed and glassed over, but internal hole and alignment could be easily restored should you want an engine inside ( mad idea in such a small boat)
