Hi Ewan

GK24 are only available as fin keel, but 2 variants, deep fin @ 5ft
draft and shoal draft @ 4ft draft (not many around).

Before I bought my GK I also considered an Eyghtene 24 which I believe
are available with bilge keels.

Hi Simon

Thanks for the info, the Eyghtene looks very similar, I'll keep
looking.

just a thought the gk24 is not a masive boat, if you find a naval architecht thay could draw up some modifacations for a gh24
a few options are

-stablising fins of the main fin - requires a stif landing area and near levelground, not for unatended moring

remove keel and construct 2 smaler fins in standard bilge configuration - dam expensive and never going to be half the boat she was

or even a T section added to a cut down fin - again not for unatended moring but would asist in wall standing and sort drying out spell

i have simply built wood legs and renforced the hull on the joining points (3 legs as i like a strong rudder) she lands in soft mud only 6-8 inches deep and solid dround under that within 12 degres of flat and she has sustained force 10 glaes repeatedly and seams happy, though im only 20 feet away watching from my tri

just a few thought on this subject, se my other posts for pictures of strike on her legs
