I have finished up the meeting notes for Apr 25, 2012:

It was a great organizational meeting and I had a lot of fun talking... but it would be nice to starting doing a bit!

I'm thinking we should have a shorter organizational section of the meeting and then actually do something.

What would you guys like to work on / learn for the next meeting?

* RepRap Machine from Dave?
* Arduino stuff from Karl?
* Magnetic Stripe Reader from Dan?
* Computer Security things from Dan?

Any other projects / topics someone feels like sharing?

I'm thinking about having the meeting May 23rd at 7 pm again. Does this time work for everyone?

Depending on what we would like to work on we might need a more sophisticated venue. Karl said we might be able to have the meeting in a room at CMU. If this doesn't work out I'll think of something.

Additionally, if any of you would like to contribute to the blog or wiki, please let me know. I have public editing turned off on the wiki because I'm lazy and do not want to have to monitor it.

The 23rd sounds okay to me!  What is this RepRap machine?  I personally know virtually nothing about any sort of hardware development, so I think my vote goes to Arduino stuff.

A RepRap is a 3D printer that lets you design objects and then make them out of plastic.  I'm going to vote for anything other than the RepRap, as I'm not sure when I'll get my printer working reliably.

I would like Wiki access please.

David, I was thinking we could help you finish it off if you like! But if not that is okay too :)

Ill get you wiki access in a couple hours. Really busy weekend!!! Sorry I wasn't more responsive!

Mike agreed to have the meeting in his garage... I updated the calendar!

Karl had a good idea for this meeting... simply a show and tell of a project you are working on or have completed.

I am going to bring my magstripe reader based on TI's LaunchPad microcontroller kit and a disk image for a pretty straight forward vulnerable server that I made up for learning about computer security.

Mike is going to show off his awesome desk project that he has been working on.

So, show up with something you are working on or are interested in.

We'll see you then!
