IfWordPress themes are all about the layout of your website, WordPress plugins are all about its features and functionality. Plugins are programs made up of one or multiple functions that integrate with a WordPress site to enhance it with new features.

But this definition, while accurate, doesn't even begin to give you an idea of what your website can become by using plugins on top of WordPress. You can do pretty much anything you like. You can install booking systems for your hotel, allow users to create an account and access a private area on your site, create a forum for your community... And you can also boost your site's visibility in Google by using top-quality SEO plugins.

CodeCanyon has thousands of plugins to offer, all created by a community of talented developers and hand-reviewed by the Envato team. Let's take a look at some examples of how you can enhance your website-there's a lot of things you can do with WordPress plugins that we're sure you have never thought of.

Go crazy with social media. Did you think that "Having social media sharing buttons and links" in your website was all there is to it? Wrong! A "share-to-unlock" plugin places your content behind a message that asks users to share the page on social media before accessing it. "Tweet this" plugins allow you to make any sentence tweetable. You can even integrate the ability to add Facebook reactions to your site. And then, of course, there's social sidebars and buttons of all sorts. Check out the Social Networking plugins collection and have fun.

Add all the widgets you like. There's widgets of all kinds! You can incorporate weather forecast on your site and make sure all your recent or most popular posts are viewable. Or you can pull in reviews from Tripadvisor, Google Places and more. Or even publish real-time stock market info... You get the idea. There are so many widgets available that some of the most popular items in this category are widget control systems. These plugins allow you to easily manage all your widgets from one sidebar or dashboard, making it way easier than having a sidebar for each one of them.

Do what you want with images and media. Want to add a beautiful video background to your homepage? Or maybe you need a video player-with the possibility of adding playlists as well, and even choosing different skins. And you want to throw in some SEO magic as well. There's a plugin for that-more than one, actually! Same goes for images. There are heaps of options for media and image galleries of all sorts. Mobile friendly, built with jQuery or JavaScript-you'll sure find something that suits your needs.

There's even more you can do with WordPress plugins to transform your website. But you've got to begin somewhere, don't you? We recommend you do so with our course Essential WordPress Plugins: Tuts+ instructor Rachel McCollin will walk you through the basics to get you started quickly. And once you've started... the sky's the limit!

In case anyone else is banging their head against the wall with this problem (like me). It is likely that you are running an ad-blocker or some other third-party cookie buster (again like me). You must DISABLE this for the plug in to display the tools in the WordPress menu.

If HubSpot WP plugin is not working you can do the workaround. You can put the HubSpot tracking code directly in your website's footer using the WordPress editor. Follow this instructions and you are good.

The most common cause of the login issue you're seeing is something "stuck" in your browser that is preventing the successful connection. The best first step will be to clear your browser cache and restart your browser.

If that does not work then the next best step will be to try logging into the plugin in a different browser or incognito window. If there is a cookie issue in your primary browser then this should allow you to log in and complete the connection and when you go back to WordPress in your primary browser the connection should be complete. We want to avoid having you clear your cookies in your primary browser so you don't have to re-login to all your sites.

I run website with the HubSpot All-In-One Marketing - Forms, Popups, Live Chat and the Gravity Forms HubSpot Add-On plugin to connect HubSpot with a WordPress site. The site itself has visitors from allover the world and has an average LCP load of 1.8 s. The CRUX data: -bamboo.com

Same here. We have been working hard to optimize our website speed and overall SEO performance. The Hubspot plugin on Wordpress completely killed our score. And that even WITHOUT any form or cta! Just incredible. We dropped 30 points in lighthouse mobile. The only solution is to remove this plugin. After doing that, our performance was 99 again.

Bump to this. We are a media company and content-driven membership site that's built an all in on inbound marketing, but the site speed issue makes all that strategy worthless. We are considering canceling or seriously downgrading Hubspot as this is a core flaw that doesn't seem to be remedied. Hubspot please address.

I can't believe I'm sifting through a thread that is over 4 years in the making and Hubspot has not addressed this by fixing the problem. I literally am trying to get a new website loaded up with HS and because of the load times, will likely have to look for a different CRM because they haven't fixed it. We have so much money budgeted for Hubspot over the course of the following 2 years, and that will all be directed elsewhere now. I can't believe this is still an issue.

Additionally, we see a huge decrease in the amount of render-blocking resources.

Although there is still work to be done, disabling the Hubspot plugin and use alternative ways to implement tracking, is well worth the effort.

Out of interest, when you say you implemented tracking in a different way, do you mean you installed the tracking code directly (or via a tag manager) rather than via the Wordpress plugin? Or that you removed the tracking code entirely and replicated some of its functionality with the Hubspot API?

We have the tracking code installed via Google Tag Manager and are still getting Hubspot-related core web vital errors. I'm working with HS support to find some options, but none seem to be especially viable.

EDIT: it turned out this isn't a viable solution. Hubspot still requires 3rd party tracking pixels for all PPC platforms for audience generation, which also means we can't use the Hubspot privacy banner. Back to the drawing board.

Is there an update here? With Google's most recent core update this has become completely CRITICAL, as if it wasn't in the past.

It's like your basically asking us to either use Hubspot OR rank in SEO. You're asking us to compromise on the biggest part of our business and it's unacceptable.

Can we please get an update as it relates to Core Web Vitals?

I'm unable to move past the login page for the Hubspot Wordpress plugin. Once installed, I see the login page, click "Sign in normally" which then opens a separate browser tab (in Chrome) with the regular Hubspot website login, which I'm able to use just fine. However, refreshing the login page within Wordpress does not actually lead to account access, all it does is just refresh the login page. Thus, I'm unable to even get to the UI stage where I input my Hubspot ID.

I had the same issue when using Chrome. I then installed Firefox and opened it, loggedin to my Hubspot account, then to my Wordpress site admin account and finnaly when I accessed the Hubspot plugin page there it already reconized my Hubspot credentials and I was able to finish the setup process and connect Hubspot and Wordpress.

Something most of us probably didn't take into consideration was the privacy extensions that are running. I was running AdBlocker and Ghostery's in Chrome and Safari. When I tried using Firefox, as suggested above, I had no issues.

It seems like you're encountering an issue with the HubSpot WordPress plugin, where you're unable to progress past the login page within WordPress. To address this problem, you can follow these steps:

1. Verify HubSpot API Key: Make sure you have entered the correct HubSpot API key within the plugin's settings in your WordPress dashboard. An incorrect API key could prevent successful authentication.

2. Check Browser Cookies: Sometimes, browser cookies can cause authentication issues. Ensure that your browser is set to accept cookies, and that your browser extensions or settings are not blocking necessary cookies.

8. Firewall and CDN Settings: Check your Cloudflare settings to ensure they are not causing any interference. Make sure your firewall settings are not blocking the plugin's functionality.

I also face this issue for my jobs in pakistan website.

I had the issue in Chrome repeatedly regardless of what I do with extensions, incognito, cache, etc. I was able to use Safari and it worked first try. I would just try a different browser. Once you activate in another browser, it will work without any issues across all browsers.
