origin has two-factor authentication

Hello - My repository origin is on a server that requires two-factor authentication with an RSA token. Whenever I sue gitx, it pretty much locks me out because it fails to log into the origin. Can I turn off this feature? I don’t want to manage my origin through gitx. Thanks.
