The LinkRunner AT 3000, Next Generation Copper and Fiber Ethernet Tester, is designed for frontline technicians who need fast and comprehensive validation of copper and fiber network links with powerful network connectivity troubleshooting. While offering the same core functions of its predecessors (LinkRunner AT 1000 and 2000 models), the LinkRunner AT 3000 features a large touchscreen, an enhanced AutoTest that provides deeper network visibility, link speed validation up to 10 Gbps, PoE tests up to 90W, SFP diagnostics, plus a lot more! Learn more.

Locating Cables
Find cable routes using toning, switch port advertisement, switch port link light blinking, and remote cable identifiers. Toning supports both analog and digital IntelliTone modes.

Cable Wire Mapping and Length Measurement
Verify the integrity of patch cables by utilizing the wiremap port, which allows for pin-to-pin connection checking, as well as measuring length, detecting shorts, opens, and split pairs in the installed wiring.

The LinkRunner AT offers a packet reflector mode, which enables you to conduct end-to-end network path performance tests remotely. This mode validates LAN and WAN throughput capabilities up to 1Gbps. The reflector mode can be configured to swap MAC and/or IP addresses.

The Link-Live collaboration, reporting, and analysis platform acts as a central system for managing test results and devices. It streamlines workflows by allowing easy logging, documenting, and reporting of test activities from various network testers like LinkSprinter, LinkRunner AT, LinkRunner G2, LinkRunner 10G, AirCheck G3, and EtherScope nXG. When your tester is connected to Link-Live, test results are automatically uploaded to the dashboard for project management and reporting.

You can also upload additional files, screenshots, images, profiles, packet captures, location information, and comments whenever needed. Moreover, certain NetAlly tester with AllyCare Premium Support can receive firmware updates directly from Link-Live.

An API is available to retrieve and integrate data from Link-Live into other management platforms, such as trouble-ticket applications or network management systems. This allows for easy proof-of-performance and improved job and staff efficiency management.

Local Reporting Mode

You also have the option to activate the Local Reporting Mode, which allows you to conveniently save AutoTest results directly on the tester itself. When the AutoTest results are saved locally, you can utilize the LinkRunner AT Manager Software, which is compatible with MS Windows, to efficiently manage and analyze test results, generate test reports, and manage your testers.

While the LinkRunner G2 and LinkRunner AT are both network testers that help IT and System Integrators verify and troubleshoot Ethernet access networks, the LinkRunner G2 is has an Android-based operating system and a smartphone-like user interface. The LinkRunner G2 includes test features that provide visibility, versatility, and value beyond the LinkRunner AT. Explore the full product comparison.

Fluke Networks LinkRunner AT Network Auto-Tester is the fastest way to solve network connectivity problems. This rugged, handheld network tester takes the guesswork out of troubleshooting with its complete one-button AutoTest. The AutoTest performs your required set of connectivity tests in 10 seconds, enabling you to accurately and quickly identify and solve network problems.

With a three-second boot-up and a one-button AutoTest that performs a customized set of connectivity tests in ten seconds, the LinkRunner AT enables quick and accurate problem identification to solve network problems fast. The AutoTest includes TruePower Power over Ethernet measurement, negotiation of link speed and duplex, discovery of switch port and VLAN information, negotiation of IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, availability of the gateway and the DNS servers, and the connection to user-defined devices and TCP applications. Save and share AutoTest profiles to standardize the troubleshooting process and create best practices.

Troubleshoot copper and fiber links with the integrated 10/100/Gig copper RJ45 and 100/Gig fiber optic SFP interfaces. Test twisted pair cables for length, shorts, opens or split pairs with a remote cable identifier, the built-in wiremap port or on non-terminated cables. Test fiber optic cables for continuity and received power. Digital and analog cable toning and switch port light blinking help locate and identify twisted pair cables. The optional office locator kit allows identification of up to six different RJ45 jacks.

Using discovery protocol analysis (LLDP, CDP or EDP) the LinkRunner AT tester identifies the nearest switch and the VLAN IDs. Nearest switch information includes switch name, model, IP address, port/slot, speed/duplex (actual and advertised), signal strength, connection type (MDI or MDI/X), PoE voltage and power (actual and test limit), and a graphical representation of power on pairs.

Run the LinkRunner Manager application to transfer saved test results from the tester to a Windows PC. Generate customize reports to close trouble tickets, escalate problems and prove acceptable connectivity. Use the management application to create and manage AutoTest profiles and to upgrade tester firmware.

The LinkRunner AT tester is available in two models: LRAT-1000 and LRAT-2000. The LinkRunner AT 2000 adds the following exclusive features: a fiber optic SFP interface, the TruePower PoE load test, IPv6 support, 50 results saved on the tester (versus 10) and a Li-ion rechargeable battery. The LinkRunner AT 2000 also features packet reflection facilitating use of the tester as a performance test remote device.
