using GitSharp.Demo for remote repository

I'm new to GitSharp and Git in general. can I use the GitSharp.Demo to connect to a remote repository ?

can it connect to https://github.com/henon/GitSharp.Demo.git and retrieve information from it ?

No, it works only with local repo. Note, that it is a very unfinished application that should only show how to use gitsharp.
