Long story short:
1. I can’t use git through my company's firewall (‘git config --global url."https://".insteadOf git://’ didn’t work)
2. The
https://git.ti.com/sdo-emu “ctoolslib” source tree link gives me a “ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS” error (and I tried clearing my cookies and it didn’t work in chrome, edge or internet explorer) (Also,
https://git.ti.com/opencl clang does the same thing)
3. I get an error with the email contact:
gitorious...@list.ti.com provided in
https://git.ti.com/contact (The error is The message you sent to the mailing list 'ds_sw_ops', with the subject line: "gitorious issues" was not sent to the list subscribers because you do not have permission to send messages to this mailing list.

I am trying to build IT RTOS for the phyCORE-AM57x/rapid development Kit
https://wiki.phytec.com//display/public/PRODUCTINFO/phyCORE-AM57x+Rapid+Development+Kit?&pagepropertiesreport.serverrender
They use the “repo” tool to git a lot of stuff from the git://
git.ti.com repositories as well as other repositories.
The repo sync command appears to work for the other repositories, but not the
git.ti.com ones.
I don’t know how easy or hard this is but I think that there are ways to set up the GIT server to allow clients to use git through http or https instead of git.
Since that didn’t work, I tried downloading the files manually and couldn’t get the
https://git.ti.com/sdo-emu “ctoolslib” files or the
https://git.ti.com/opencl "clang" files. About 20 other various ones did work though.
