Newline character in repo description (desc)

Apologies for the delay.

The actual change is as simple as the attached file, if you want
to apply it on your local installation (see
https://gitolite.com/gitolite/non-core.html#for-your-non-core-programs
for more on this).

However, I won't be making that change in gitolite. As far as I
can make out, only gitweb and some similar programs use that
file, and I believe they only use the first line. Essentially,
it doesn't seem like a change that a lot of people need.
