selecting other branches doesn't do anything

First, thanks so much for this awesome software! I love it.

Currently, on v. 0.7, if I select a different branch, the display
doesn't show the history for that branch - it just stays on master.
I tried selecting a new branch, and refreshing (from the menu and by
clicking the button), and it didn't show any changes to the history.

I'm going to work on getting this hooked up over the weekend unless someone else wants to 

have a go.
