android port

I've asked about the possibility of an android port of gitit on the pandoc forum, since someone there was asking for an android port of pandoc.

I've just seen an article

Will that make it easier to write an Android version of Gitit?

I've never written a line of Haskell. I've never compiled a program.

Is it something I could learn to do? How long would it take to learn how to do from the article, and the related resources?

As Gitit changes, how hard would it be to merge those changes into the Android app?

How hard would it be to include sync of the text files up to a server, whether it's Gitlab, Github, Dropbox?

It seems that it should be possible. I don't do anything on
Android, though, so some other adventurous soul will have to try this.
