Hi Miao,

Thanks for writing the script. This is a potentially powerful script, enabling one to use any theme posted on Bootswatch.

The Bootswatch css relies on the js to display the wiki page elements at the right place. 

However, I find the javascript loads rather slowly. Upon refresh the page elements first get listed from top to bottom for fraction of a second before the js kicks in.

I wonder if the js can be optimized, or will the loading speed issue always be present so long as js is used, therefore one must use an implementation that does not depend on js?

A while back I made a branch that uses bootstrap:
https://github.com/jgm/gitit/tree/bootstrap

You could try that. It's not something I intend to keep
working on. gitit2 (work in progress) also uses bootstrap.

Oh wow, what a cooincidence! I just filed bootstrap theming as a feature request: https://github.com/jgm/gitit/issues/373

Where can we track gitit2 progress? Maybe that would be a good time to pick a new name since Gitit also supports Darcs which is why I love it.

I just made a gitit site with changing the template, using bootstrap and custom css/js. (no change of server-side program)

It's a Chinese website. However I think the idea is funny.
