Is it possible to use GitExt as a console instead of git.exe

Hi,

1)I have a gitolite server up and running. I can clone, push, pull with git extension + putty for ssh. I also have a cruise control.net service running but I cannot make it work with putty. The idea I have is to use git extensions instead of git.exe within ccnet. I tried gitext.cmd but I failed.

2)When I change the settings in GitExt to use OpenSSH I get the same error as the error in ccnet. This is because there is no OpenSSH configured. When I change the GitExt settings to putty everything is working. Tell me where is the magic? How to call git.exe so the proper ssh keys are loaded and used?

Hi,

You should set HOME environment variable, check msysgit manual.
