Odd problem with federation

So I managed get federation setup between 2 gitblit instances. It all seems to be working great, except for 1 minor nagging problem....

Not all of the project descriptions are being transfered. Out of 56 projects, only 3 managed to have their descriptions copied over.

There are no errors in any log files....just successes for the mirroring...

All the *data* is there...just not the descriptions.

And just to add more oddity...I checked the 'config' file in the transfered repositories, the description property is set in the [gitblit] section correctly. It just isn't displaying in the repository list page.

I solved my problem.

It turns out to be some incompatibility with the Open JDK that was being used by default. I downloaded and installed Oracle Java, and all the descriptions magically showed up.

Nope, turns out it was just restarting the gitblit server that was needed....

I need to stop trying to do these things so late at night :)
