I deployed to openshift and I am very pleased with the whole experience

It is working on both http and https, how can enforce to use https always and redirect to https when necessary on openshift environment

Many thanks

IMO I would run HAProxy and let it do the SSL. Then you have all kinds of control and other flexibility such as forcing SSL, redirects, etc.

The upcoming 1.4.0 GO release supports http->https redirects.  For WAR deploys (like OpenShift) you'll have to come up with a different solution at the container level or research Ryan's recommendation.

For those who visit this pages

Depending on what you have on open shift , here are the instructions; I just followed jboss one and it is redirected automatically.
