Hello,
I would like to use gitblitz WAR within an Apache Tomcat to share the port 8080 as http port but then the gitblit WAR does not
start the port 29418 as usually by gitblit GO. My question is, can I use gitblit WAR within tomcat an the ssh feature like gitblit GO?
If yes what I have to do?

My system:
Ubuntu Server 14.4
Java 8
Tomcat 8.X

For some reason I cannot open the standard port for sshd (22) on the server. The port is used only for internal network.

Thanks for your answer
Phuc

Hi Phuc,

The Gitblit SSH daemon on 29418 should work just fine when running within Tomcat.  You should review your config and the startup log very carefully.  I'm sure the explanation is somewhere in there.

Running the Gitblit SSH daemon on 22 requires some Linux/Unix administration know-how.

I restarted my tomcat, and everything works well. Thank you for your quick answer.
