I use qelectrotech infrequently, so I'm not that up to date with current dev status. Anyway it seems I'm losing too many time hiding wire labels, especially on common wires (see the attachment). The fact that this is rather convoluted and error-prone (actually I double-click on the wire, deselect two checkboxes and confirm) suggests me that I'm doing something terribly wrong.
Uses DIR as the current user's configuration directory. This directory hosts a file named qelectrotech.conf, which contains the application configuration, and a subdirectory named elements, which contains the user's elements collection. Note : this option is enabled only if the QET_ALLOW_OVERRIDE_CD_OPTION directive has been specified at compilation time.
I am trying to install package qelectrotech on ubuntu 18.04.
After installing I got (old) version 0.5-2. So I added a PPA (sudo add-apt-repository ppa:scorpio/qelectrotech-dev) source to get the newer version. But they don't work automatically. Now I need to manually force "downgrade" and look for the version to get a new version of 0.90.
After checking, I realised that my ubuntu system added some version info before the actual version!
I see old (original 0.5-2 ) the old version 1:0.5-2 and the version in PPA (new 0.90.r7446) as 0.90.r7446.
