कामं क्रोधं च लोभं च दम्भं दर्पं च भूमिपः ।

सम्यग्विजेतुं यो वेद स महीमभिजायते ॥
kāmaṃ krodhaṃ ca lobhaṃ ca dambhaṃ darpaṃ ca bhūmipaḥ |
samyagvijetuṃ yo veda sa mahīmabhijāyate ||
That king who knoweth well how to conquer lust, wrath, avarice, boastfulness and pride, can own the sovereignty of the whole earth.
