काव्यशास्त्रविनोदेन कालो गच्छति धीमताम् ।
व्यसने तु मूर्खाणां निद्रया कलहेन वा ॥
kāvyaśāstravinodena kālo gacchati dhīmatām |
vyasane tu mūrkhāṇāṃ nidrayā kalahena vā ||
For the wise, time passes in the enjoyment of poetry, arts or sciences, but for the fools through indulgence in the vices, sleep or quarrels.
