कामं जनाः स्मयन्ते कैलासविलासवर्णनावसरे ।
साधनकथनावसरे साचीकुर्वन्ति वक्त्राणि ॥
kāmaṃ janāḥ smayante kailāsavilāsavarṇanāvasare |
sādhanakathanāvasare sācīkurvanti vaktrāṇi ||
People indeed smile (joyfully) at the time when the joys of the heaven Kailāsa are described ; when the disciplines necessary to attain it are described they turn their faces away (with a wry smile).
