The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) is an immigration pathway that allows the province of Prince Edward Island to nominate skilled workers, international graduates, and entrepreneurs for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR). PEI is one of the most peaceful and beautiful provinces in Canada, known for its friendly communities, affordable cost of living, and growing job opportunities. The PEI PNP program is designed to attract immigrants who can contribute to the province’s economic development and meet labor market needs.

The PEI PNP offers different immigration streams such as the PEI Express Entry Stream, Labour Impact Stream, and Business Impact Stream. The Express Entry stream is linked with Canada’s Express Entry system, and candidates who receive a provincial nomination gain an additional 600 CRS points, which significantly increases their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canada PR. The Labour Impact Stream is suitable for skilled workers who have a job offer from a PEI employer, while the Business Impact Stream is designed for entrepreneurs who want to invest and start a business in the province.

Prince Edward Island has demand for workers in industries such as healthcare, hospitality, construction, agriculture, IT, transportation, and skilled trades. International graduates who have studied in PEI may also qualify for nomination under specific graduate pathways. Applicants are usually selected through an Expression of Interest (EOI) system, where they are scored based on age, education, work experience, language skills, and adaptability.
