The Yukon Nominee Program (YNP) is a provincial immigration program that allows the Yukon Territory to nominate skilled foreign workers and business applicants for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR). This program is designed to support Yukon’s economic development by attracting immigrants who can fill labor shortages and contribute to the growth of the territory. Yukon is known for its natural beauty, peaceful lifestyle, and strong demand for workers in various industries.

The YNP offers different immigration streams such as the Skilled Worker Stream, Critical Impact Worker Stream, Express Entry Stream, and the Business Nominee Program. The Skilled Worker Stream is for individuals who have a valid job offer in a skilled occupation from a Yukon employer. The Critical Impact Worker Stream is designed for semi-skilled or entry-level workers who are needed in industries like hospitality, tourism, and construction. The Express Entry Stream is linked with Canada’s Express Entry system, and candidates who receive a Yukon nomination gain an additional 600 CRS points, increasing their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canada PR.
