i've heard rumors that we were thinking of planning some broomball, or a
braves game outing, or some six flags, or some speed zone. i can't wait to
meet more ieee members through such an outing, but what would really make the
ieee experience complete for me is a disco/karaoke/breakdancing contest. i've
always wanted to see the ECE's on our campus cut loose and get funky!

Broomball is in the works.

HOWEVER...I wouldn't hold your breath on disco/karaoke/breakdancing. I am not
sure how many of us can dance, yet alone are willing to do that. Also, dancing
would require a partner and seeing how ECE is still 7:1? (I don't have our IEEE
stats) I think that the probability of acquiring a partner is not very great.
Are you volunteering?

Perhaps we could have a joint dance with the School of Management's honor society?

disco and breakdancing were specifically chosen because they can be done
solo. unfortunately, i don't think i'll live to see the day when the school
of ECE will get down and boogie, but it certainly would "make this year more
valuable" to me :-).
