As the Subject states I rebooted win2k after a long time.
The only problem is all of the settings from before i
rebooted are gone. My desktop picture(all the files that
were there also), my ICQ list vanished, the settings for my
mail and news are gone. Its like i just booted this OS for
the first time. There was a directory in C:\Documents
and Settings/ called Administrator.bak which had all of my previous settings
i believe. That is where the files from
my desktop are now. So I renamed that dir to just Administrator and
rebooted thinking it would take those settings and use them. It didn't. It
left that alone and made a new dir in C:\Documents and Settings called
Administrator.JTEEF where it got the JTEEF i have no idea. Anyways if
anybody knows how to restore all of my pre-reboot stuff i would appreciate
it a lot since it took me 5 weeks to get it that way.

Thanks

[12:51:33 jehsom@yo ~]$ uptime
12:51pm up 65 days, 17:32, 1 user, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00

That's my home machine (it sits on an ADSL box masquerading my
home network, running an IRC bot, and serving my computing needs
every weekend when I go home. And I know that's not even all that
impressive...

I don't want to start an uptime contest or anything, but I was
checking up on this machine earlier today and just can't resist:

[chap@samba155 chap]$ uname -smv
Linux #1 Tue Oct 13 22:17:11 EDT 1998 i486
[chap@samba155 chap]$ uptime
1:48pm up 402 days, 3:24, 1 user, load average: 0.00, 0.02, 0.00

What's that hostname? i'm sure it's nice a
crackable^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hstable.

My uptime sucks, but then again i'm running 2.3.99-pre3 :) (hasnt crashed,
but i keep upgrading....)
