I had a long term issue with typing ESC at the bash command prompt.  It would freeze my shell temporarily.  I didn't even realize it was ESC for the longest time.  I would eagerly await Git For Windows updates.   I guess that Git For Windows installations don't update bash/MSys2/MINGW very often.

I don't know much about MSys/MINGW and I think I put Msys2 in my path, just for other command line tools besides vim, git, etc.  I don't know of any package management tool for Git-for-windows explicitly.   Is there one?

Can you guys get updates into Git-For-Windows/GitBash for MINGW and MSys2?  I see you have separate repositories for those.  I don't know if you guys are having trouble getting your changes merged upstream or what.

Here's what I get when I try to follow the FAQ:

```$ git-update-git-for-windows
/mingw64/bin/git-update-git-for-windows: line 128: test: %http_code: integer expression expected
Git for Windows 2.45.0.windows.1 (64-bit)```
