Hi all,

I found such shortcut in my start menu. It's rather useless. Why ans when it was created by git for windows? What is the purpose of it? I can't google anything about this shortcut. I reinstall my git and it was not created again.

If understand correctly "Toast" is a (recent-ish) windows facility to do the equivalent of daily morning tasks, such as checking for updates (and making the toast, sigh)
.
If you search the Git-for-Windows issues ( https://github.com/git-for-windows/git/issues?q=Toast )you will see that the integration wasn't perfect (It's Windows..) so it (your link) is probably left over from some installation incompatibility.

Do check that (in the git bash) that `git update` checks for updates, and gives you a 'deprecation' warning that you should use the long-form command... This at least checks that some of the update checking is working. Expect it to offer v2.26.2 at this moment. there was a Git security update yesterday.
