Git 2.33 very broken on Windows 7.

Hello git windows users
I'm just posting to let anyone interested know that Git v2.33.0 gets the error below during installation on Windows 7, and then doesn't work, whereas git v2.32.0(2) does not exhibit any problems.
The error is:

Runtime error (at 325:1981)Could not call proc.
----
I have not tried this on other versions of Windows as I don't have access to them as of this moment.
