Hello : )

Will Tig also be updated?

Perhaps you can shine a light... What are the routines here, in general? Is latest Tig always packaged with new releases of Git for Windows? Is there some documentation, where this is already declared, to point me to?

Thanks,
z

Hi z,

Usually, Tig will be updated to the newest version as soon as I get
aware of any. IIRC the latest Tig update resulted in a compile problem,
though, so I don't know.

Maybe you can test for yourself by downloading and installing the Git
for Windows SDK from https://gitforwindows.org/#download-sdk and then
running `sdk cd build-extra && GPGKEY=1 ./please.sh upgrade tig`?

Ciao,
Johannes
