Git isn't getting downloaded

Sounds like a virus or permissions problem.
Do you run a virus scanner - which one? Can you set a permission for that
download.
Are you in a corporate environment? they could have banned all apps that are
not on a white-list of signature authorities. If so you will need to talk to
the IT dept.
It doesn't look like it is a Git problem. More like it is a 'user'
perimiter/firewall protection issue.
