Downgrade to 2.9.1?

Hi there,

This morning, I see this:

But, the current version is:

mintty_2018-11-27_09-45-55.png


Something wrong?



Other information:


$ git --version --build-options

git version 2.19.2.windows.1

cpu: x86_64

built from commit: 26dcaa1b6b5fd862db3ec40983e33ff3432f1166

No, not really. The only thing that is wrong is Git for Windows v2.19.2,
which unfortunately shipped with two major regressions. For that reason,
it was demoted to a "pre-release" (the best I could do to avoid having
more users download that broken version).

Next week, Git for Windows v2.20.0 is expected to come out, hopefully on
December 3rd or 4th. I really do not want to push too many updates to
users lest they stop updating due to "version fatigue".

Today I received another strange update dialog... the version was missing. Makes me worried that the update server got hacked or something. Is it expected?

That looks like an intermittent problem to reach the GitHub API about the
latest release.
