Immediate Need a Flex Developer - CO
 
Title            :     Flex Developer
Location      :     Denver, CO.
Duration      :     6-12+Month contract

 

Job Description:

 

While operating under minimal supervision, develops, tests, and modifies web applications software to improve efficiency of business operations.  This position provides work leadership to less experienced programmer/analysts.  Additionally, an individual in this position will provide Project Management for small to medium sized projects.  This position typically requires six to nine years of application programming and analysis experience. 

 

The client needs a strong Flex developer to help make modifications to an existing Flex application. It is an application with Flex on the UI, Oracle backend and ColdFusion in the middle. They also need someone to do help develop a new module in Flex to deliver new functionality to this application.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Strong OOD / Java background
doing new development on a team of other Flex developers
must be self sufficient
Cairngorm background
STRONG communication and business sense
Must have 3+ years of Flex development
Must have strong OOD development experience
ColdFusion is a plus
Must be a go-getter and able to work independently
Excellent written communications
Strong Verbal Skills

 

Specialized Knowledge:

 

Excellent knowledge of applications programming and analysis procedures.  
3+ yrs of Flex development;
3+ yrs of ColdFusion;
Excellent communications, writing and editing skills needed to transfer information to individuals involved in the development process. 
Excellent project leadership skills.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

 

40% Develops, tests, and modifies application software; programs or configures systems to meet user requirements

 

Designs modules and/or approaches, and required enhancements
Develops block diagrams and logic flowcharts
Codes, reviews, prepares test data, tests and debugs software
Revises and updates programs as required
