This 3-day course introduces the key principles of LiDAR technology and its ecological applications. Participants will learn to work with LiDAR data using the lidR package in R through a combination of lectures and hands-on practical sessions.
The course covers point cloud processing, terrain modeling, classification, and extraction of ecological metrics. It is designed for ecologists, researchers, and professionals with basic knowledge of R.
