Greetings to you,

Yes! It is that time of the year again. Society of Geoinformatics
Engineers, College of Engineering, Guindy,is proud to bring to you
GEOHORIZON'12. Society of Geoinformatics Engineers (SGE) is the
organization of the students of Geoinformatics Engineering of College
of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai. SGE strives to help
students in their exploration of the various dimensions of Geomatics
and to encourage them to take the marvels of Geomatics to the society
at large. As a part of this year’s schedule, we here at SGE are
planning to organise GeoHorizon’12 on March 1 and 2, 2012. We have a
wide range of events covering every aspect of Geomatics. The events
include:

Magnum Opus - Traditional paper presentation, with topics pertaining
to geomatics and its applications.
Graffiti - Poster presentation
Crack the Track - Treasure hunt with a difference! Crack the clues and
find the treasures using a GPS.
R U a spatial thinker ? - An event designed especially for the out-of-
the-box thinker! For more details, come join us this March!
Alohomora - An online event. If you are a fan of the sphinx and her
riddles, then the event is a must for you!
Pictrix - In simple words, an image quiz, but with a twist. The images
given to you will have to be decoded and interpreted. An online event
Quizzadry - For all the quizzing maniacs out there, we have quizzadry.

Treasure 360 - A desktop based treasure hunt!
Survey Junkie - Wealth out of waste in a new avatar. Build survey
instruments out of scrap!
Code Sprint - Problem solving, Coding, Debugging Problems in the
Geospatial Domain.
There is everything that an inquisitive mind looks for at GH’12. We
eagerly look forward for the participation of your college in GH’12,
and we guarantee you an out-of-the-world experience. Abstract
