Hello ladies!

I hope y'all are having a fruitful first week of Lent!

In the spirit of living more simply, we're going to host a toy exchange/toy drive!

When: 10am- noon, Saturday, February 27
Where: McGinley home, West Border Oak Dr, Magnolia

Rules:
1. Toys should be in new or gently used condition.
2. Toys (such as puzzles) must not be missing pieces or broken.
3. Please do a quick wipe down of plastic toys (ex: not covered in dust/webs from garage) and/or wash stuffed toys.
4. All unclaimed toys will be donated after the exchange.

We'll try to have it relatively organized and categorized. (ex: puzzles, small toys, crafts, outside toys, stuffed toys, etc) Other than that this will be REALLY RELAXED.  There's not going to be a toy Nazi or bouncer, and there's no rule to how many toys you can bring or take home. Cat fights over prized toys will only happen on the hour. And, no judgement will be passed if we see items that have been gifted within our circle. ;-)

Feel free to bring your kids (or not) and pack a picnic lunch! We'll have some drinks for those who didn't give this up during Lent or water. Most importantly, this is meant to be an opportunity of fellowship and fun while helping simplify your lives and sharing generously with others.

Hope to see y'all in two weeks!

I put it on the calendar but we don't have a tall schedule yet. I hope we can though... Great idea!

Also in starting to go through our things - I vote we have a "grown-ups" table too -  DVDs, books, board games, etc. Basically an "entertainment exchange".

I'd love to come but will have to see as we get closer.  Andrew has a soccer game at noon and Sydney has her FHC retreat at 1 but I don't know what time ballet is until the week before.  Sounds awesome and I'd love to see you ladies so hopefully I can make the first hour!

A great rainy day activity for today is going through your toys, books, crafts, puzzles, and such - drive/exchange/picnic is THIS Saturday! :-)
