Important Message Regarding Abortion matters hearing TODAY

I would like to share with you all a message that Susan Gallagher sent to the Angels who volunteer for the Gabriel Project. Please PRAY & email something to DSHS for the hearing in Austin today if you can. Many thanks!

I wish this subject wasn’t so heartbreaking and sickening. I would recommend you say a prayer before and after reading it. 

Susan asked me to send you the note below and request that you please email something to the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) for the hearing in Austin today, November 9. I know, it is last minute, but there is only a 3-hour window today between 9 a.m. and noon to send this email, and it is very important. 

God have mercy on all of us! I had no idea this is what was happening. It just makes me sick to my stomach.

The Department of State Health Services (DSHS) has scheduled a hearing for Wednesday, November 9th to discuss changes to the law which govern the disposal of unborn children lost through abortion. The hearing will occur at DSHS, which is located at 1100 W 49th St, Austin, TX 78756.

The issue is that, currently, the law approves several methods for disposing of aborted children, including "grinding and discharging to a sanitary sewer system," and "deposition in a sanitary landfill." Legislators, since the time they discovered this, have been working hard to change it so that unborn children will be buried. Governor Abbott has also made it a very high priority to revise this statute. The hearing tomorrow is one step toward that revision, and I'm attaching the written testimony that the TCCB will provide, which provides a bit more detail.

If you are able and willing, please attend and provide testimony supporting the proposed change. Even if you cannot attend in person, you can submit your support for the proposed change by emailing tissu...@dshs.texas.gov between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm today, Nov. 9th. Please copy me (mic...@txcatholic.org) on your emailed support, so that I can make sure your message has been received.

No, I did not...she said she had one but didn't post it. Below is what one of the moms sent. I edited it and sent something similar. 

To whom it may concern: I am a wife, mother of 4, and conservative voter in Harris County and I implore you to support changes to the laws governing the disposal of bodies of babies killed through abortions. No matter where you stand on the issue of abortion, we can all agree that grinding down and flushing, as it were, of the remains of the children of our great state is both gruesome and UNTEXAN. Please show respect to those sweet, innocent Texans by passing measures requiring the proper burying of their remains. 

With great trust in Jesus and with respect for our leaders in Austin. May God bless Texas.
