My name is Joan Chase, I was a Co-Leader for Troop 2901 (MA-13 / Daisywood Community).  Some of you may know me, others might not remember me.   If you know any other leaders with Brownie or Junior troops and are willing to share this email with them, I would greatly appreciate it!

PlayTime Productions Children's Theatre is putting on a One Day Drama Camp & Theater Workshop for Scouts on Sunday, December 8th, 2019.  We are so excited to make this experience available to Brownie and Junior Girl Scout Troops in 2nd through 8th grade!  Along with the experience, leaders will go home with craft templates, badge work suggestions and a fun patch for each Scout.  (see attached flyers)

If your troop is available or you think some of your girls might be interested in attending individually, please contact me!

PlayTime Productions (PTP) is a non-profit organization offering Local Community Theater performed by children ~ for children and adults of all ages.  Our actors are in 3rd-8th grade and travel Dane County, performing at 15 different venues per season.  PTP performs children's tales with a twist and fun musical numbers.  This Winter, we are performing an original production of Ali Babba and a Few Thieves.  This production features a one hour, child-friendly, positive version of the story, along with great songs.  

Our organization has worked with GS troops over the years in various ways and many of our actors are Scouts too!  We hope to establish this as a bi-annual drama day camp event in December and April with troops throughout Dane County.  

If the full day is too long for your younger Scouts, do not worry!  They can do the workshop portion from 2:00-5:30 and they can use the seat voucher for any of the 16 performances that are scheduled between November 9th and December 14th.  Please see the attached flyers for all of the information on the Drama Day Camp and the Winter Performance Schedule, should you just want to see the show.
