Hadoop Admin – Architect ( Hortonworks )

Ashburn, VA

3 weeks

We are looking for 2 Architects to assist our customer with their migration to HDP.  The engagement start is ~ April 9 (ideal) or the soonest we can in Ashburn, VA for 3 weeks each.  Details for each role and scope are below.  

We are looking for a Platform Architect with the following skills/experience (in order from most important to least):

1. HDP Security

2. HDP cluster sizing and design

3. HDF cluster sizing and design

4. Use-case review and planning

 

This person will perform the following tasks over the course of 120 hours: 

-Get to know the current use-case

-Security workshop to document a plan to address GDPR and other security needs

-Determine and document optimal HDP and HDF cluster sizes

 

We are also looking for a Platform Architect with the following skills/experience (in order from most important to least):

1. HDP migration

2. Use-case review and planning

3. HDP Security

 

This person will perform the following tasks over the course of 120 hours: 

-Review future use-cases

-Migration workshop

-Security workshop
