There have been a ton of open-world games for the PlayStation 4. The appeal of exploring an entire game world, all while progressing through a storyline, has not gone away since the days of Grand Theft Auto. For 2019, Bend Studio has its own open-world game to offer, and has been in the works for almost four years.
You play Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter who, at the start of the pandemic, left his wife Sarah in the hands of NERO. NERO is a scientific research lab dedicated to solve the Freaker pandemic. Two years later, Deacon becomes an outlaw with Boozer by his side, confronting a world ravaged by Freakers left and right.
As Deacon moves around and accomplishes certain tasks, he earns experience points from it. These points turn into skill points to be used on his Skill Tree (swiping down on the Touch Pad). Such skills include the ability to face Freaker hordes better, the ability to craft certain weapons and ammunition, and heightened Survival Vision (R3).

The PlayStation controller weighs approximately 280 grams. Meanwhile, the Kaleid Flux weighs only around 218 grams. Comparing the two, the DualSense just feels like a brick. The Flux feels absurdly light. I had no issues using it in any position during a gaming session.
Additionally, your grip will rest on smooth matte, rather than the glossy portion of the controller. Ergonomically, your index fingers rest on a sweet spot between the bumpers and triggers, and your middle fingers on two customizable back buttons. It feels comfortable.
Of course, much is already known about Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. It will release on July 19, 2024. Preorders are also already available. The way the game it set up, it features a great mix of action, strategy, and even tower defense. The title also features Kagura-inspired design and character art, making up for a unique hack-and-slash experience (a.k.a. Sword Dance) in Mt. Kafuku.
Lastly, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard will be the latest title under the famed survival horror franchise to make it to Apple devices. That includes the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Capcom released the game in 2017 across multiple platforms. It focuses on Ethan Winters, who is on a quest to search for his long-lost wife in an area occupied by an infected family.
