Ordered the 12-14 pound competition USDA Prime brisket. It arrived in a well insulated box well chilled but not frozen. I thought with the exception of some minor trimming that it would be ready for the smoker. I removed about 3lbs of heavy fat before it was ready. After 14 hours in the smoker & 2 hours resting it was ready for the dinner table. It was a big hit with the 11 guests, my wife & myself. The meat was really tender & full of flavor. It did not disappoint. We will certainly do this again but want to try the USDA prime rib eye roasts first.

While I have used Creekstone before, this was my first try with the competition series. It was definitely worth it. The butchering was excellent. And while I did some trimming to be sure, it was modest compared to many briskets I've cooked before. I was very pleased with the thickness of the flat, and the quality of the meat is evident when you eat it. My pellet smoker was a little faster than usual cooking, but there were no ill effects. I rested it in a large roaster/crockpot device for about 19 hours before serving. It was just so tender. In other words, I recommend the competition brisket. Enjoy!

I am 6 weeks away from that anniversary and am 16lbs off. I've stalled for a couple of months down to bad habits.

Is it possible to hit my target do you think? If I apply myself 100%

What should I do? Gym? Fasting? HIIT?

I've continued to eat whatever I want and done zero exercise so far, so need to make some big changes!

I know I should focus on the 6 stone but we are having a reunion of the ladies that went with me who also got sleeved and they're all alreadt at goal or exceeded, so I do really want to hit my target.

Yes and I followed it at first but as time went on I became more relaxed and the weight came off regardless so I just ate the meals we had as a family and still enjoyed the occasional treat and it's worked fine. My body had naturally plateaud but I would like to lose a little more.

No sign of it reversing! It would be impossible for me to eat like I used to, the amount of calories required to gain like I did is just not possible for me anymore.

I have a very tight restriction still, I'm not worried about gaining weight at all.

I'm definitely getting the nutrition I need. My regular blood tests confirm this. I take multivitamins as well.

Well done that's an amazing achievement! I'm 7stone (but very short and tiny frame) so you've basically lost a whole me! - you should be so proud of yourself!

Eat well, exercise and if you don't lose the 16lb in that timeframe don't beat yourself up as you've done soooooo well. Just keep going until you do reach your goal, you will do it
