Hello there
Is it possible to run a GIMME analysis with a therapist's variables (N=1) and clients' variables (N= 12) to search for subgroups?  (indeed, interactions of therapist' variables and clients').
Thanks

Hi there,
By design, the subgroups are formed entirely from the network structure and estimates. So, if the therapist's variables are also time varying and time-locked with the client's variables (for instance, if they are in session) then those variables can be included in the individual's time series data frame. In this way, the therapist qualities will be included.

If you mean static variables of the therapist and individuals (i.e., diagnostic status; gender of therapist) then these cannot be used inside of gimme. After subgroups are created (and gimme analyses complete), one can explore if the people comprising the subgroups differ meaningfully, for instance according to qualities of the therapist or

Hope this helps, and sorry for the delay - I had missed this.

Thank you Katie
Yeah, the therapist's variables will be time-varying.
Therefore, if we have only "one" therapist (N = 1) who treats some clients (N = 12), the subgroup analysis of interaction of time-varying assessement (both the therapist and clients) will be possible. In this case we include the therapist's data in each client's worksheet to run the analysis?

Your welcome, Mohammad. Thank you for your patience.
Yes, exactly.
Although, it sounds like not all clients have therapist data? In that case, you might need to run two separate gimme analyses - one on the group with those therapist variables, and then again on the group that doesn't have those variables. The reason is that gimme requires everyone to have the same variables at the group level.
Hope this helps,
Katie

The therapist is the same for all clients.
