Hi,

I am running gimmeSEM in gimme_0.8.2 on a supercomputer with lots of memory (up to 128G). No output is created except creation of the output directory, and I keep getting this error:

Error in formals(sys.function(sysP <- sys.parent())) : node stack overflow Error during wrapup: node stack overflow Error: no more error handlers available (recursive errors?); invoking 'abort' restart

Thanks or any help with resolution.

Hi Dina,

I've never seen this error. If anyone else in this group has, please let us know so we know if it's widespread or specific.

From online searches it seems this can be do to (1) recursiveness in a function where it basically calls on itself or (2) highly complex SEM models can consume a lot of memory.

Since (1) would probably make this error occur in every gimmeSEM() usage, i'm betting it's (2).

Do you have a large number of variables being used?

Hope all is well,
Katie
