Guidelines for Convocation Ceremony 2016
Dear Graduands,
Congratulations.
The day you have been anxiously waiting for after two years of life and hard work, will dawn on 26th of March 2016. The day would open a way to your future career. We all at GIM wish you the best in all that you will be and do.
On the day of convocation you are required to follow the guidelines given below:-
1. Place: The Convocation 2016 will be held at Sanquelim campus.
2. Dress Code : Boys - Business suit Girls – Saree/Business suit
3. Timing: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
4. Dinner: For graduating students and their parents.
5. Guests: If you want to invite any guest other than your parents for the dinner, you need to make advance payment for the same latest by 20th March 2016. The rate will be communicated later. Payment should be done by NEFT and send mail to paym...@gim.ac.in and mark a CC to mku...@gim.ac.in . Once confirmed no cancellation will be entertained.
6. Hostel Room: You are allowed to retain your hostel room till 27th March 2016.
7. Dues Clearance: Kindly submit the completed “No Dues” form to the PGP office. Last date for the same is 10th March 2016.
8. Dress Rehearsal: There will be a dress rehearsal on 25th March 2016 in the morning at 09:00 am near MPH. During the rehearsal all the procedure related to the ceremony and the rules of the Conduct during and after the Ceremony will be informed. Those who do not attend the rehearsal will not be allowed to participate in the Convocation Ceremony.
9. Leave and Absence: Those who won’t be attending the convocation on March 26th, 2016 should give their name to the PGP office (pgpo...@gim.ac.in) latest by 10th March, 2016, along with No Dues Clearance Form.
10. The convocation ceremony being a formal function , children below 12 years are not permitted to attend the convocation ceremony (they may join in for the convocation dinner).

Dear All,
“No Dues Form” will be available from 04th March 2016 on wards in the PGP PT Office. Please get the same duly certified by all the constituents mentioned in the form. Please note that no cheque payment will be accepted under any circumstances. Caution money would be refunded by NEFT in July/August 2016 only after adjusting dues / fines / damages if any. (Kindly fill up the bank details correctly in the NO DUES form.)
Kindly submit the completed "No Dues" form to the PGP PT office. Last date for the same is 13th March 2016.
Clearance for the award of Diploma will be given only after settling the following:
o Fulfillment of all academic requirements of the program as decided by Director/Dean/PGP PT-Office
o Clearance of all dues with different Units of the Institute/student bodies and/or committees in the institute or anything related to the Institute or persons
o Submission of Dues Clearance Form duly filled in.
