Product Search API bug

I was using the product search API to search. It returns

• total_found: 1,
• products: [ ]

}

My search request:

https://api.gilt.com/v1/products?q=aspen%20surplice

Should have returned this product but came back empty: https://www.gilt.com/brand/stylestalker/product/1177093960-stylestalker-aspen-surplice-neck-jumpsuit?origin=search 

Do you guys know anything I might be doing wrong or is there a bug in the API?
