To originally create this page, we consulted with a group of young people who served on the 2021 Microsoft Council for Digital Good. In a virtual workshop, we spoke with them about why privacy matters and how they can protect their privacy while interacting with others online. In small groups, they reviewed the draft content for this page, asked questions, and shared their thoughts and feedback. Their participation helped us clarify how we explain our privacy practices using age-appropriate language and help young people better understand and manage their personal data. Aiken has been nominated for the Young Innovative Talents Project by National Radio and Television Administration of China, recognizing her significant contributions to the radio, television, and network audiovisual industry. Additionally, as a partner at Babblers, she actively supports and promotes emerging young creators.
Wildlife need a sheltered place to raise their offspring. Many places for cover can double as locations where wildlife can raise young, from wildflower meadows and bushes where many butterflies and moths lay their eggs, or caves where bats roost and form colonies.
Young forest and shrubland are in short supply. As Eastern forests age, we need to make some younger habitat in key places to provide essential food and cover for certain species of wildlife whose numbers are dwindling.
Federal and state agencies, conservation and wildlife organizations, land trusts, towns and municipalities, and private landowners (both large and small) are creating important young forest and shrubland to help northeastern wildlife. Many areas are open to visitors who want to get a "feel" for this special habitat.
Patients are considered to have young-onset colorectal cancer if they are diagnosed before they turn 50 years old. The incidence rate of colorectal cancer is rising by about 2% annually in young people. By 2030, researchers predict that colorectal cancer will be the leading cause of cancer deaths in people ages 20-49. Researchers have not concluded why young-onset colorectal cancer is on the rise, but the Alliance is funding research to help find out.
