to GigLedger Android Beta
Hey everyone,
Big fix just shipped. The previous build had a bug where trips weren't
recording — both manual "Start Trip" and Auto-Tracking were silently
failing on Android 13+. v1.0.5 fixes it.
Open Play Store → My apps → GigLedger → Update.
When you first launch v1.0.5, you may see new permission dialogs:
- Notifications (required to keep tracking running in background)
- Activity Recognition (required for auto-tracking to detect driving)
Please grant both. Without them, tracking won't work.
What I really need you to test:
1. Tap "Start Trip" on the Mileage tab
2. Drive somewhere — even 5 minutes is fine
3. Tap "Stop"
4. Confirm the trip appears in your mileage list with non-zero miles
If you have time, also try Settings → enable Auto-Tracking → drive a real
trip and see if it auto-records.
Reply here (or message me directly) with anything broken, weird, or
confusing. Screenshots welcome. No bug too small.
Thanks for sticking with this!
