to GigLedger Android Beta
Hey! GigLedger v1.0.6.1 should hit your Play Store within a few hours (Google's reviewing it right now). Once you
▎ can update, here's what would help me a TON to figure out what's going on:
▎
▎ Before you drive:
▎ 1. Update GigLedger from Play Store
▎ 2. Open the app → tap the gear icon to go to Settings → scroll to the VEHICLE & TRACKING section → tap Tracking
▎ Diagnostics (the yellow ⚠️ row, brand new)
▎ 3. Take a screenshot of that whole screen and send it to me — I want to confirm everything shows green ✓ before you
▎ start
▎
▎ During your drive:
▎ 4. Drive at least 5 minutes at normal road speeds (highway > city for the first test if possible)
▎ 5. After ~60-90 seconds of driving, a dark teal pill should appear at the top of the Mileage tab showing your
▎ distance + a white "Delivery Done" button. If that shows up, auto-tracking caught it 🎉
▎ 6. If nothing happens after 2-3 minutes, just tap Start Trip manually so you don't lose the drive's miles
▎
▎ After you stop:
▎ 7. Open Settings → Tracking Diagnostics again
▎ 8. Scroll to the bottom and tap the blue "Copy diagnostics" button
▎ 9. Paste it into a reply to me — just long-press the text field and tap Paste. It'll be a wall of text but it tells
▎ me exactly what happened on your phone
▎
▎ Whether auto-tracking worked or not, that report tells me which specific step worked or broke. So the next fix (if
▎ needed) is a targeted one instead of a guess.
▎
▎ Thanks again for sticking with this — every fix in the last two updates exists because of your testing. Genuinely
▎ appreciated.
