GigaPan Time Machine Update - July 2011

Hello everyone,

It's been quiet on the news front, but that doesn't mean it's been
slow on our end.

The following time machines have been updated:

Plant Growth: In addition to 6 more days of footage, the time machine
is also now rendered at full resolution, allowing for an increase in
zoom detail. A few visual defects have also been corrected.

Early Universe: It has been renamed to Evolution of the Universe, and
includes several hundred additional frames. Be sure to zoom in to see
the new details.

In addition to the above, we have been working hard on several new
exciting datasets. Such sets include data from the Solar Dynamics
Observatory (http://sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov/) and NOAA'S National Weather
Service (http://www.weather.gov/radar_tab.php) We have many more time
machines planned, so stay tuned!
