Bank of America’s Global Risk Investments and Treasury Technology (GRITT) is hiring Graduates from class of 2009 and 2010.
The business of banking is to take the right Risk for a commensurate reward. Be an integral part of teams that help the bank evaluate Risk across all business lines. Use your strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills to provide innovative technology solutions that model and calculate Credit Risk, Market Risk, and Quantitative Risk.
Type of work done by the group includes:
1. Measuring the potential impact of fluctuations in interest rates, exchange rates, equity and commodity prices, credit spreads and other systematic risks
2. Calculating the sensitivities of the current portfolios to changes in market variables
3. Derive useful statistics to estimate the amount that current portfolios could gain or lose with a specified degree of confidence over a given time interval
GRITT serves all lines of businesses within Bank of America including Consumer, Commercial, Corporate, Investment Banking, Wealth Management and Capital Markets.
GRITT India teams are located in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai with opportunities in Business Analysis and Application Development streams. Technology areas include Java, J2EE, C# .NET, Business Intelligence Tools, Data management in Oracle/Sybase/SQL Server Databases and many other technology areas.
What are we looking for?
- B.tech/BE/MCA
- Students from Computer Science; Electronics Engineering & Information Technology background only
- CGPA of 6.0, Percentage of 60% or above
- Experience between 0 – 20 Months
- Proficiency in one of the programming languages (C/C++ or Java or .NET or J2EE or SQL Server or SQL Databases)
- Willing to work in one of three locations - Hyderabad/Chennai/Mumbai
- Good at problem solving, analytical and logical skills
- Should have passion to learn and adapt
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
