Insupersession of all previous notifications on the subject, the following condition, which are prescribed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to regulate th grant of Certification of competency to Electrical Supervisors and Permits to Wiremen for the Purpose of Rule-45 of the Indian Electricity Rules, 1956 are published for general information. These conditions shall apply to the whole of Uttar Pradesh and shall come into force with effect from the date of this notification in Government Gazzate.
This Board shall consist of Electrical Inspector to Government, Uttar pradesh, who will be Ex-Officio Chairman of the Board and two other members nominated by the Government for each Centre where an examination may be held. The Chairman will receive application from the candidates and make all necessary crrangements for holding the examinations and declare the results.
(ii)- On the application of the holder of the certificate or permit the form given under Annexure X made before the date of expiry of the certificate or permit, the same shall be renewed for a further period of five years on payment of the prescribed fee.
Provide that the Electrical Inspector is satisfied that the holder had actually been engaged in supervision/execution of electrical installation work, as the case may be with a licenced Electrical Contractor, electricity supply licenseeor sanction holder, registered factory, an Institution exempted by Government from rule-45 of the Indian Electrcity Rules-1965 or a Government Department for at least two years during the period of validity or that the holder has continued to be in touch with electrical installation work and continues to possess necessary knowledge so as to enable him to carry out efficiently his duties of supervision or execution of electrical installation work as the case may be;
(iii)- Subject to provisions of clause (ii) above, a certificate or permit may be renewed by the Electrical Inspector after the date of its expiry but within one year of that date on payment of a late fee prescribed in condition no. 12 together with the prescribed renewal fee, No certificate will however be renewed after one year of its date of expiry.
(i)- If any person holding a certificate or permit is found guilty of infringement of these conditions or the provisions of the Indian Electricity Act, 1910 or Rules made thereunder, the Electrical Inspector may, if he considers necessary, immediately suspine the Certificate or Permit and thereafter take, steps for cancellation of the permit after giving to the person concerned an opportunity to show cause against the proposed action.
(ii)- Every order made by the Electrical Inspector under Subsection (i) above shall be subject to revision by the State Government provided that the application for revision is made to Government within a period of 90 days from the date of order.
(ii)- Treasury Chalan forms with Head of Account printed on them can be obtained from the office of the Electrical Inspector to Government, U.P., Lucknow, Zonal offices of the Assistant Electrical Inspectors, Electric Supply Undertakings, Divisional or Sub-Divisional offices of the U. P. State Electricity board, and the Collectorates. These Treasury Chalan forms need no endorsement of the Inspectorate and can be presented for deposit directly after filling them up properly and scoring out the sub-heads nor applicable, though printed on the Treasury Chalan should be forwarded to the Electrcal Inspector Payment must not be made in cash, currency notes or by money order in any case whatsoever.
(iii)- Condidates must satify themselves that they are eligible for the purpose for which the fee is being deposited; because no claim for the refund of application fees shall be entertained under any circumstances.
